Thanks to Brian for the race report and Ian for the pics race report as follows :-

With a couple missing because of their dislike of F1 10 were ready to rumble. In the "C" final were Sue, Dave and Steve, but Dave lost the pinion in the warm up and borrowed Greg's F1. Dave took the lead followed by Steve and Sue, Steve was using a brand new controller and was not his usual self and couldn't catch Dave who despite loosing a front wheel for the rest of the race held off Steve and at the finish it was Dave 1st, Steve 2nd and Sue 3rd who was not having the best of nights. In the "B" final was Ralph, Sandy and Ian. It started off being a very close race with all of them leading at one time or another but at the end of the 1st segment all three were within 1/2 a lap and at the end of the 2nd segment Sandy had 5/100th of a lap lead over Ralph who was 2 laps up on Ian. Sandy then started to pull away from Ralph and Ian was fading away at the back. The result was Sandy 1st, Ralph 2nd and Ian 3rd. In the "A" final was Brian, Simon, Greg and Josh who had also got a new controller. Brian went into the lead followed by Simon, Josh and Greg, and at the end of the 1st segment Brian was 1 lap up on Simon who was 1/4 of a lap up on Josh who was 11/2 laps up on Greg who was having car trouble and eventually retired. After the 2nd segment Brian continued to pull away at the front while Josh overtook Simon for 2nd place, and that's how it stayed until the end with Brian 1st Josh second and Simon 3rd. Driver of the night must go to Josh with his second place and despite the lap difference made Brian work very hard for his win with only 1/2 a tenth difference in their fastest times and also Simon on making the podium. The top 3 were Brian, Josh and Simon.

See you all soon Sandy xx
