QUOTE (sprint @ 25 Jan 2004, 12:46 PM)I think it has a good shape and I hope she will run well at le Mans.
I don't know if this car will ever run at Le Mans (at least not in 2004), its main purpose is to enter the FIA-GT championship. This will cause a lot of trouble, because it does look like a LMP and not like a GT (maybe that's why you were thinking of Le Mans) and second, it will be the first factory team racer in the until now purely privatly entered FIA-GT.

..but far better looking than either of those 2 cars

What an awesome beast - I suspect that the scoops on the roof are there for more than looks, (air intakes for engine) unlike the max power brigade who have some on their Corsa

Cheers,
Mark.

Off topic, but it's my thread so ya boo to you, having seen the re-run of Clarkson and the modern Ford GT-40 last night (how much attention was I paying? Can't remember the new moniker) I wondered if any of those buying it might be tempted to campaign it somewhere.

Or maybe it just plain wouldn't fit any current regs.

Shame, be nice to see one properly at work.

And we think Fly are over priced!

That Enzo GT, er, sorry Maserati GT is $550,000 while a Ferrari 550 GT or whatever number it is this year is £100,000 less.

Still, as long as it gives Audi a run for their money at Le Mans this year.
