A Ninco stage with elevation, snow and off road sections - with brakes
A classic Scalextric stage with humps
The tight and twisty stage that Lawrence has built (SCX/Scalextric Classic)
Another TBC - i'm trying to get some of the new SCX Analogue/digital track for us to try or a Scalextric Sport/Classic combo.

Just had confirmation that we will be receiving the first (in the UK) of the new style of SCX Track to use as part of a stage!

The new SCX track will be incorporated with SCX Classic track to form one stage (we will use my Scenic Loop at one end).

I will be interested to hear feedback on the day and interested to know grip levels etc. The track is wider than the classic. More details on the new track here. Time permitting i will do a quick photo review for Slotforum.

SCX have also sent their prizes for the Championship!

Sorry Jexy but I'm going to have to pull my entry into the Farnham event.

Best of luck on the day and I'll see you all at Wye Valley later on this year.

Just to remind you about the Farnham Slotrally on this coming Sunday...

Food from the start of the morning will be available - bacon baps and alike. Lunchtime bar snacks and the bar will also be available from 12:00 onwards.

Parking on-site is easily available - can you park on the right of the car park, and leave the spots around the club entrance free please.

If you need directions please PM me and I'll send some detailed directions.

Regards

Lawrence.

Hi Gareth

Sorry, but Farnham clashes with Yorkley's atumn event, to which I had a prior commitment: Ryan won't be able to make it either.

But we will have at least 4 from the IOM, possibly 5, at Wye Valley.

Cheers
Dave

Thanks for letting us know Tom, sorry you can't make it.

Just had confirmation that David Lord will be bringing his routed track (as seen at Gaydon) to be used as one of the stages.

Sorry I missed tonight's 'own cars night' but Mrs. G appreciated me being home.

Even if I was a bit busy!

Graham, if you still want to run my cars on Sunday, my new Modified contender is coming together rather nicely I think...

My 'Italian Porsche': Scalextric Porsche GT3 + Fly wheels/axles + zero grips on the front + lexan interior. Probably not so hot on the hilly bits, but plenty of punch.

This one will certainly be finished for Sunday. The Alfa is a little less certain, hence reserve car almost complete. Also got cars for most classes.

The credit for these extra entries should go entirely to Dave Lord and several seconds should be knocked off of all his stage times to reflect this.

I just thought Gareth would like to know in advance rather than them turn up on the day out of the blue.

The competitive part starts on Sunday Dave.

I think it's going to be a shouty day!
