A while back I asked what can I do to stop my Ninco CLK Merc hopping.

Well, I did change the complete rear axle assembly for a Slot.it one. Rims, bushes, axle and gear. I glued the bushes in seeing that it will never need to be removed to change anything in the rear. I even removed some weight. And guess what. The thing goes like a rocket now. Super smooth out of a corner at full throttle. No hopping or out of control sliding. It also sounds just sooo much better. I nice deep, solid sound.

In conclusion. No Ninco car will go home with me without a replacement Slot.it rear assembly.

Thanks for the advise guys. Saved me from allot of tears and hear pulling.

I think I read the same thread as you and took the same advice. My CLK had sat on the shelf with Ebay looming as I'd never cured her of the hop, skip and jump approach to exiting a corner under full steam. I was also convinced that I had already glued the bushes; but I took her out, gave her some sticky and lo, a totally reborn car. Sweet.

No need for the Slot It stuff (we only race 'box standard'), just sticky.
