Just a few pics of my latest F1 restoration project.

Not perfect or wholly accurate but pretty enough . . . . and quick enough . . . I hope!

Nice on Ian - I like your 'range' of cars - they are cars that I enjoyed watching - at a time when I enjoyed F1

WOuld be nice to see an 'overview' picture of all your cars

Here is a fairly comprehnsive record of most of them.

There are some among these that I've build for other people too.

I'll try to do some better shots but here are a few to start off with, I hope you like them?

Yup - thanks for posting - great to see such an Iconic collection.......

Great cars - great choice - one of the things I like is when someone collects and builds slotcars not for showing off but because of the love of it - great!!

QUOTE (Philip P @ 16 May 2012, 10:15) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Ian,

A great display of classic cars from a classic era. The Tyrrell 006, 010, Wolf WR01 and the Brabham BT?? (can't remember the number but it is the red one without front wings...47?) are my favourates.

Thanks for taking the time to post the photos.

Cheers,

Philip

Its a Brabham BT48 Venturi car.

Built for Will Charlton for the Heart of England GP Championship 2012.

He's doing really well with it too.

The Tyrrell 006 that you've described was handbuilt in my own workshop.

Follow this link to see how I did it.

Best wishes.

QUOTE (2FER SLOTS @ 20 May 2012, 01:35) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Good golly what a great bunch of cars you have

I too would be interested in what they are ?
Are some you build ?

Yes they have all been restored in my workshop from scrap chassis and bodyshells.

I just love the 1970's era, especially Jackie Stewart, Tyrrells etc.
