Gday
i have just started on making a track using scalextric sports digital
Ferrari raceway came to my head because i love ferraris (what teen doesnt) but still
here is a track desine
it isnt corrent as i have lenthend the start finish straght but then run out of straight track so i have to shorten it again (but not as much as on the plans here)
im realy only going to race f1 on this track and im going to put it packable wooden boards when i scenerise.
Thanks
RW fan
P.S. i will put a picture of the new desine asap
If they're sending the router back, why can't they work again until 2012? I mean, if you couldn't return the router, then I could understand that money might stand in the way, but... did you really mean 2012?
mr f
its a small cumpany
i got 1 of there first products so there studying what went wrong before reparing
they didnt put a date so im guessing with these sort of places 2012
i may aswell sell it back to them and reclaim some of my money
then after a while
+ my sholder is back in a good state ill by a new one
ok nothings going to plan currently have a fault in the track, so when there is a car in the inside lane the power there totally cuts in the lane but it works perfectly in the outside lane and pitlane just mensioning its an oval with C7042 APB and pit lane game
its one of the 2 tracks ill have when im finnished
i will have
which is a track was based on monaco (i started with the template that scalextric has on there website) and i will have my oval with some additions
I like the Monaco plan, it looks like it has the real flavour of the 1:1 tarmac !
We have a Monaco plan at MRW ( alas not built, YET ! ).
I like the squeeze sections at 'Sainte Devote' & 'Tabac', it looks to have a real street-circuit feel to it.
Nice 'Nouvelle Chicane', 'Swimming Pool' & 'Anthony Noghes' corners, as well, on that plan.
Mark should have got the tittle last year, I CRIED !, that he didn't quite make it.
Oh well, he's def. the most 'airborne' Aussie ever on 4 wheels !!!
ive got nothing currantly as money is a big issue, that was a rough plan based from the sample one on scalextric's website with some royaltys put in like more LC's and a pitlane, the monaco is going to be my routed track, and my plastic track im having problems with running anyway, and 2010's v8 championship i was supporting cortney as im a DJR fan, but mark is a realy nice guy in person, mind so is Steven and Dick johnson
QUOTE (raikkonen_webber fan @ 27 Nov 2010, 08:33) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>the wood has had a bad set back router so broken they need to send it back
cant get a new one till at soonest 2012
So it's now 2012. Are we ever going to see any pictures of a physical track, or just a load of more of your random designs???
cant believe its 2012, im currently got alot on my hands, Aplying for jobs, im presedent of a few different clubs, now im also trying for a slotcar club with a mate, plus apparently i broke the router, so i need to by a new one
Unfortunately Digital has the problem of needing at least 1 straight track before a changer of any sort. It will unfortunately mean a hefty re-design which ia a shame as basically its a great track with a depth of technical driving. You may be tight fo a border on the Hairpinon the right.
Nah, all he has to do is take the XLC from after the pit entrance and put it after the hairpin just above that. Then, move the pit entrance to the where the XLC is. Everything else looks good.
Hi
I disagree I would move the xcl from after the pit as said no need for it there.
but do need it on the little straight earlier so anyone can get into the pits .

Looks good. Personally, I'd put the XLC in the gid to the BACK of the grid, to avoid a pileup at the start of the race, not to mention forcing the last 4 cars to be so far behind the leaders. ;-)
I don't think you can do it with the APB yet, but with the PB-Pro C7030, it can disable lane changing for the first X seconds of a race. That works nicely on my track. Hopefully such a feature will be added to various RMS apps for the APB. It'd be nice to see that added to the standalone code, too, but I won't hold my breath for that.
Hi
Thats alot better .
I think the xlc is ok in the grid line up I have 3 in mine and they work great,
what I have done is painted the grid positions on the xlc so not to take up more room.
Plus it gives you more room between cars at start which is good for first corner.
If you need to change lanes when taking off you hold the the button in at start of race.
regards ade.
