Well the final line-up is now confirmed for the 35th anniversary display at the Autosport 6 Hours of Silverstone on 9-10-11 September: the 20th time that a 6 Hour/1000km event has been staged at 'the Home of British Motorsport'.

Don't forget that SlotForum members can claim £5 off the tickets if you call 0844 3728 260 and give the code LMS-SLOT

That makes tickets £24 for all three days - with a max. 4 children 15 or under allowed free

With a 50 square metre digital track for our unique SCX Digital race on Saturday 10th September that's free to enter - see the thread HERE and HERE it's an all-action weekend.

So, opening the line-up for our heritage collection will be the 1976 BMW 3.5 CSL 'Batmobile' as driven to victory in the inaugural Silverstone 6 Hours by John Fitzpatrick and Tom Walkinshaw...

Next up a 1979 Porsche 935 K3, just like the one driven to victory that year by John Fitzpatrick, Hans Heyer and Bob Wollek. The car on display will actually be the John Fitzpatrick DRM car in full Jagermeister livery

Next we have a real treat - 1982 Porsche 956 #001, which started the Group C revolution in its one and only competitive appearance at the 1982 Silverstone 6 Hours in the hands of Derek Bell and Jacky Ickx

Winner of the last Silverstone 1000km of the Group C era, we also have the Jaguar XJR-9 driven by Martin Brundle and Eddie Cheever at the start of what became Jaguar's most successful season in the World Sportscar Championship

Returning to the international racing calendar in 2004 as part of the burgeoning Le Mans Series, the 2004 Silverstone 1000km was won by the Veloqx Audi R8 which will be taking its place in the anniversary line-up:

Finally bringing us up to date will be the Peugeot 908 HDi in which BBC 5 Live F1 commentator Anthony Davidson took the honours in last year's race.

More information to follow on which of the winning drivers from the event's history will be on hand for the weekend's celebrations!
