Me! And I still have it and all the other Corgi models.

I had a tartan carpet in my bedroom which made great 'straights' and 'chicanes' for racing. I spent literally hours oversteering these things through bends in slow motion while making engine noises.

My unimaginative cousin used to complain about the noises. He ended up running a hospital and I ended up playing with big cars during the day and little ones at night!

Pictures can be deceptive, but it does look a bit fat - both in height and width - around the centre.

If Vanquish have made these as modular as the real things were, then with a sub-chassis and DFV moulding they can stick on various bodies - just as the teams did - to make most of the 1970s grid. Then, as with the Can-Am cars, the scale issue will matter less.

Anyone got an old Hornby 72 we can see a comparison with?
