I notice you can buy FLY chassis for some of the classic cars. Are they identical in every way (markings, etc) to the originals? Is there any way to tell if one is a spare vs original?

I don't think so...but I've never looked that hard...let me check...

My replacement Lola T70 chassis is identical to the original.

generally ditto - but sometimes Fly have done more than 1 version of a chassis - eg GT40, the original chassis wasnt very fast so Fly updated the design.

I also have 2 standard saleens, the chassis are definately different mouldings (they have different writing on the bottom - I am not sure if this is the only difference, although 1 is much faster than the other).
