I am down to the over pass on my new 4 lane layout and the "just in case I buy a Fly truck" question regarding how high a bridge to build is back!

I can't find the answer and can't remember from the last time!

So... exactly how tall are the Fly Trucks!?

Sisu's are about the biggest and they're about 3 1/4 inches tall, which doesn't sound a lot but they look huge on the track. I've built my bridge with nearly 5 inches of clearance just in case they make one with an air deflector on top!

I can't see myself getting trucks though

- they just don't rattle my bones.

I build my bridges at just over 4" I think.

What's that expression: "Don't build your bridges until you burn you pockets"
- getting some Fly trucks

4 inches is the minimum you want to clear the trucks.
Of course, if they ever make trailers, I'm going to have to raise my bridge

I have acouple of the trucks and I like them!! The guy here that owns the local track has a scalextric track in his basement with a over pass and he went 4 1/4 inches!! That gives plenty of room for the antennes!!

i'll go 4" then, maybe even 3 7/8" Damn the anteni!. heck, 3 3/4" is an even scale 10"...
