It started because of my dislike of black windows
Tire Wheel Vehicle Hood Car

To replace the black windshield i vacformed a new one using the old one as a mould. One thing leads to another,i 3dprinted a new iso chassis in PETG.Gears and guide were also 3d printed in resin

Looking for rims i found that the closest were Slot.it 15,8X8 so i 3d printed rims in PETG ,inserts in resin and cast urethane tyres size similar to Slot.it's F22,
Finally i vacformed a cockpit.
And the finished car.I might strip it and give it a repaint

Some re-build! The car looks ten times better for it too.

3DP resin gears? Now that sounds like a very interesting line of development with a lot of scope for innovation. Have you used them much yet, and how do they perform in practice please?

I have not used them in anger yet.One weekness is you cannot tighten the grub screw much so the axle slides.I have overcome this problem by making a flatspot on the axle where the grub screw touches.Oh and grub screws are 2.5mm.I am waiting for a load of 4-40m grub screws which i hope will not chew threads so easily. One more thing i want to try is siraya
HIGH RESOLUTION ENGINEERING resin which is described as tappable.
