Assistance/explanation please. My "Personal Photo" can be seen in my "My Profile" but doesn't appear in my posts. I think I've resized it correctly but maybe not.

Allan,
it is not your personal photo which appears next to your post that is your Avatar,

Go to your "control panel" then "Edit Avatar Settings"

Just to confirm check out My Profile and you'll see the picture is different to my Avatar,

Note though your Avatar picture has to be no bigger than 74 pixels by 74 pixels in size.
