I ordered this George Turner Models Cro-Sal Cheetah Roadster kit before Xmas and it was delivered last week. I have always wanted to make the Cheetah Roadster and this looks like a excellent kit. There are many small parts and the roll bar, and door handles are white metal and it also has the decal sheet. I have some SCC insert wheels 15x10 (front) and 15x12 (rear) with the 5 spoke inserts for it which should look great on the car.

Here it is with the body painted. I wanted a color blue that was close to the original but metallic to just do something different. I decided to use Tamiya Deep Metallic Blue (TS-53). The pictures really don't show the true color of this but its like a dark candy blue. I think once the white stripes and roundels with the red edging go on its really going to pop.

I have made a little more progress, got the engine, wheel inserts and dash detail painted along with many other small parts. Received the 15x12 rear wheels/tires along with other parts from SCC today, I hope to get the decals on it tomorrow along with the motor/drive shaft and guide and getting the exhausts painted.

I got the decals on today along with the motor and drive train. I have a few more small details to finish up on the body, cut the windshield and clear coat it. Hope to have it all finished up tomorrow nigh

I was able to get the Cheetah all finished last night. I still need to sand the rear tires and round off the sidewalls but this has been a fun little project. This kit was very easy to work with and as others have said these resin kits he makes are some of the best! I have already started to plan out for another one of these kits, but the coupe this time with my trademark colors. With the M/T-1 motor, slot it running gear and SCC wheels and tires this thing is smooth and very controllable. Here are the completed pics.

Very good

Just a small thing but could you paint the hubs behind the inserts and a bit of wethering on the side pipes.

All the best
