When I was building a table for my track in the shed it was suggested by a few here on the forum to have the table on wheels. I had a space of 12ft (3.6m) x 20ft (6m) to use but was limited with width due to my workbench, fridge etc on one side of the room. I ended up going with a table size of 4ft11" (1.5m) x 17ft4" (5.3m), installed castor wheels on all legs (10 of them) which allowed me to move the table in and out from the wall and allow access to 3 sides of the table. I still have plenty of room to move around and its still comfortable when the mates come round.
