I'm really looking forward to this sunday, I hope I get enough time away from racing to have a good scout around. Really looking to see the new models from the manufacturers, looking round the museum which I will imagine will remind me of all the cars of my youth.

To buy, hopefully some scenic stuff for my track, and maybe the avant slot Porsche Kremer, to name a few, I hope they don't take credit card

I'm after a Scalextric go-kart head. I think I should make a list of things but it might scare my wallet too much!

Is the Wrenn stuff the Formula 152 Kev? I've seen a few bits on the bay. The cars look really cool. Is it true they'll run on regular HO track?

Cheers

Hi Gareth.
Good luck with your head hunt!
Yeah, Wrenn is Formula 152.
I`ve not got any Wrenn cars so it`s something that I`m looking into collecting now.
I`ve got 2 Wrenn 152 Grandstands on my Jouef layout & a couple of pit buildings up the loft.
I would love to get me mits on a Wrenn first aid hut-but I`ve never seen one in the flesh!
Don`t know about Wrenn & HO. But I do know that you`ve got to be wary of the early models because they had dodgy vibrator type motors in them which easily burnt out.
Cheers

Hi Kev,

Your Jouef layout is very cool. I always like checking out the latest additions pictured on it.

If you look on the Trackhobbies website, Willie on there has compiled a great museum of HO F1 and Indycars and he has included the Formula 152 cars on it which is why I assumed they could run on HO track. I don't know the answer so I may have to drop him another email and find out.

I wouldn't mind getting a couple of the cars eventually when money permits. I'm steering clear of buying other track systems which is why I'm not going for the complete set which is listed you know where. Sticking with my AFX track.

I'm quite a way off working on landscaping or buildings.

Cheers

Top of my list would be a Carrera Plymouth highway patrol (for less than £80!), either/both NSCC Rovers (but not for silly money), red toysrus TR7, and a mint boxed Maestro in yellow.

I thought I was the only sad act with a list

My list so far:
MCS RS200
Avant slot Evo
Avant slot Scooby
Slot it GT40
Scaley Aston LMP
Cartrix F1 (any model)
Something nice from NSR

However this list is subject to change, every minute

Knight Rider and Bigbird,

Pleased to read you are hoping to find some more scenic items. We will be there with lots of stock and have been invited to decorate the Scalextric track which RikoRocket and Andy Wallace are running. So do come along and see that.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the demos on powering flippers, SSDC, Velleman light thing link-up, etc. not to mention finding a car or two. It should be a great day all round.
