I opened my weekly GS mail, and scrolled through- the new ninco burton 934 caught my eye.
"wow!" I thought. "Ninco have done a great job on this one- it almost looks as good as the exoto 1/18th version... oh. it is the Exoto."
anyone else similarly fooled?
I don;t mean to have a go- I really like Getslotted, and don't have a problem with using pics of the real cars in absence of the actual slot cars, but where it's a pic of a model- it's not necessarily so clear that it's not the right model... I only really twigged because the front wheel was steered.
I would never say it was a deliberate attempt to mislead, just that things could be made a little clearer.
