For my Formula One collection from the fifties I am at the moment - among other plans - planning to create two different verisons of the Gilby Engineering Ltd Maserati 250F driven by Roy Salvadori. #44 raced at Reims, July 4th 1954, and again as #44 raced on Aintree, July 16th 1955.

On both occasions this car was sporting a very large and distinctive logo or insignia on the front, just in the middle of the two roundels for the race numbers.

Any member here on SF who offers this logo or insignia as a decal? Or can anyone point me in the right direction to copy it from the web and do my own decals?

I am relying on memeory here without looking it up but I think it was the BRDC shield.

David - just checked with Formula 1 in camera 1950-59 of Paul Parker (page 92), and you are spot on! Thanks a lot.

I renew my question: Anyone offers the BRDC shield as a decal?
