Some advice to help my fellow internet slot-car buddies:

In an effort to control my junk email, I've dumped MS Outlook and installed Mozilla Thunderbird 0.7. Check it out here. You can import all your settings and email from Outlook painlessly and it handles POP and IMAP which I use. Best of all it has adaptive Junk email filters that learn to identify and get rid of all the junk email.
Outlook couldn't do that with IMAP and their POP filters were a pain to use.

I'm using the Mozilla Firefox web browser too. Works very well.

Thanks Wankel Ickx for the recommendation.

Everybody should get rid of Outlook and IE. Besides other browsers (Netscape, Mozilla and Opera) having really good junk mail controls they also do not have the security holes that Outlook and IE have. Almost every virus out there exploits MS's security holes.

Been using Netscape for years, I can not stand MS IE, what a joke.

The new Netsacpe 7.1 has spam blockers and uses much of the Mozilla software against spam. Don't need my spam blocker now at all. Such bliss.

Well I took your advice and installed.

Very, very good, much better than Explorer and I haven,t had a pop up since.

It does run a little slower than Explorer, on my PC, and scrolling seems slower, but a great product.

Thanks for the tip Guys.

Regards

Alan
