after all the years of suffering being called a miserable old bar-steward by mrs zz , I am finally rejoicing that she has come round to my way of thinking. the source of this wonderment?... a newly found joint loathing of the foul phenomenon of otherwise seemingly intelligent individuals starting a sentence with the word "so"!!!! if you have been asked , "how do you propose to re-attach that button"? , or , "what method would you use to distribute seed in your garden" , fair enough but otherwise , nooooooooooo! other current hot favourites are "yoofs" with their kecks hanging out the top of their trousers and newly qualified drivers with a green p plate (clearly designating pillock) who refuse to commit to crossing a roundabout without having received a written invitation at least a fortnight in advance! what gets your hackles up?

Chilli chocolate...

That is actually quite good.. I told my wife it has an aphrodisiac effect and she wouldn't eat it...
Isn't this the way the Aztecs drank chocolate? I've always wanted to try it.
First time I've tried one of these kits. T the answer to my dreams. Beautiful parts that will fit together perfectly. No more months and months of designing and fabricating and fitting and cursing.

Ah yes, very nice. It folds up into a box-like chassis, neat and precise.

But something doesn't seem right. The rear mounting tab folds easily on the score line - maybe too easily. And after it is bent into position, the unsupported tab seems kinda flimsy. Will it hold on? Can it support the rear of the body?

No.

Still, assembling this chassis in one evening, including the repairs, is a real treat.

Too grumpy to make a new tab, I'll stubbornly re-attach the broken tab, even if it won't be as good as a new tab.

Hi Al, yep that's what I was doing when the tab fell off. I probably knocked the tab a few too many times with my fists of ham, and the thin amount of material at the fold line failed. All the folds are filled now and it has firmed the structure up.
