After taking an interest in Kevan's Mustang thread, I decided to get this out and put some blue stripes on it. I have decals but I thought paint would be easier. What a joke? Now I have to soak the thing in meths and start over. grrrrrrrr.

You might be able to carefully touch that in to hide the bleed, failing that next go round apply clear once you've masked the stripes, it should seal them off and stop anything seeping where you don't want it.

Slightly happier as I got some project bits and got the sale stuff out, passed a stall selling my Car show staple in town for Christmas, Cheese filled Krakuer sausages but at £6 a pop I had to forgo them this time but if I get a good level of sales I think I will go back.

If my back allows I think tomorrow shall be productive too but for tonight a cold bottle of Worstiner and bag of fancy crisps with my name on it.

Well it's not even December and its a Monday yet the Christmas Herberts were in full swing, nearly got ran over for the sake of moving their Car foward 4ft in a Queue and every shop I got dragged had Queues up the aisles which made not finding what we were looking for perhaps a good thing.

I think I shall have any Christmas shopping of mine delivered, I might live longer.

The chances of illness and disease spreading in any large camp of modern slavery victims, either in Calais or RAF Manston is not inconsiderable, trying to isolate those with symptoms together as is reported today, is a bit of shutting the door after the proverbial horse has bolted, I hope it can all be controlled .

It's been foggy and cold here since Sunday evening. I can't bear more than 10 minutes in the attic, because it's not insulated or heated. I'm bored.

Seems yesterdays escapades took more out of me than I thought, I'd been in Bed sometime after 6 yesterday as I was laying flat to help with the pain and just dozed off, woke up 5am and got up but by 10am I was back in it only waking about an hour ago.
Still no hope of working on the new listing stuff as I still can't move enough but theres always tomorrow as I can't be dragged out when the Cars not here and site traffic remains high all week this time of year.

People not paying their bills again, only a small item but slows me up getting stuff posted.

I'm also wondering if I've caught Covid for a 3rd time as some nasty person must have ventured out sick and muggins here with no real immune system needed only breath in the same air, where I got sick from I can't be sure as Monday I was dragged here there and everywhere.

On the brightside, if I have to isolate it increases my chances of survivng Whamageddon this year.

With my last dose it as was at least three or four days before I had what appeared to be a slight cold and another day and a half before it turned worse and I tested positive. So I was out to the supermarket, which is where I probably got it, with my little sniffle. After that I stayed in until the day after I tested negative, but it's that gap between catching it and knowing you've got it that causes the most problem no matter how conscientious you are.

I've tended to see them within a day or so but then my immune systems weakend, some are still writing it off as Colds though and going about their business (symptoms can be very mild for some) which by now we really shouldn't until we are 100% sure it's not Covid, workplaces should understand this as you could potentially take out whole teams with it.

I'm staying in today to work on the stuff I was too rough to do yesterday as I've now medicated myself and if it doesn't pass by Friday morning I will test as my Sister is passing through with her very young Baby and it could potentially really harm her which I do not want.

Just curious. Is it considered PC to self-test these days?

I had what I think is flu for a couple of days. Is it now considered socially correct to run out and buy a Covid test lit.

Covid, it's been a hit n miss thing, SWMBO, myself and youngest son haven't had it, his GF who lives with us has, eldest son and his GF 5 miles down the road both had it.
One of the guys at the slot club has had it three times.
Latest concern is what diseases are coming across from Calais, hope it can all be contained and nipped in the bud.

Of particular concern is the way our non-Government has allowed our capability to quickly develop new vaccines to crumble over the past twelve months, especially with the possibility of new variants of COVID19 or the currently rampant avian-flu mutating to affect humans, it already having crossed into mink populations in Spain.

Expecting the governing body, either blue or red to be intelligent, proactive ,honest, rational, logical, is a tall order, gas prices have tumbled, but our undersea storage in the North sea can only operate at 20% of capacity, we have the smallest stocks in Europe.

We press on with a Railway that has massive environmental impacts,they can't say what the cost will be, when it will open, may as well just stop it at Birmingham now, it's gone toooo far to stop that bit.

The official report of the second motorway link to Kent under the Thames says it's poor value for money, yet again it'll devour concrete like there's no tomorrow, bet it doesn't get canned though.

Basic trouble is that many politicians are just that, no experience of real world , commerce, manufacturing, infrastructure,supply chains etc, so it'll never get any better I think and taxpayer's money gets p1553d up the wall yet again.

While it might not be PC anymore to self test I think it all depends on the people you are socialising with and your personal view. With some of my club's members being retired I didn't want to attend until I know it was safe and I think it would have been selfish to do otherwise. I was feeling fine on day five which was club night but didn't attend and took another test on day six, after positive test, and it still went straight to positive. I've also missed an evening with just a bad cold as I didn't want to pass it on.

You can buy a test in nearly every bargin shop and supermarket, if you want any medical procedure done now you have to do it.
It's neither hard nor should it be a taboo, if you don't want to go back to the EDITED of lockdown you deal with it properly.

It shouldn't matter who you're socialising with, you don't always know who they may come in contact with going to and from the place you visit, if I have it where I got it was a retail enviorment fillled with people of all ages and levels vunerability.

You might not be able to fully isolate, not everyones life allows that but you still use common sense, if you go out mask up, it'll keep what you're carrying in, sanitise hands regularly and avoid busy periods, shops are open late now and really you should stick to essential stuff until you are healthy anyway.

If I test positive as it's looking more like I'm going to need to I've got the fun of trying to get Parcels taken to a Post office, even without strikes the collection from home service is awful here so it's better to just take it.

I think I may be turning into a grumpy old git! This weekend (well, since last Thursday actually) no slot items received in the mail despite purchase of several items from various sources with overdue deliveries, plus onset of toothache and the horrors that may entail, plus freezing cold large shed where Policar rally circuit sits idle unless I burn $$££ to heat it, plus no sunny garden respite this time of year it being damp, bare and cold, plus the 'delights' of Christmas looming. Roll on next Spring. Would be kinda nice to hibernate in sunny climes. Must be gettin' old! 🌂🦷

Ronnie and I always put the masks on when we go shopping. At the supermarkets here in France, the majority no longer bother and we get "silly old gits" looks on a regular basis. But it's still out there and not to take basic precautions, in spite of having had all the jabs, just seems to show a basic lack of common sense. Why do they think it's still the law that masks are required in Doctors, dentists and chemists out here?
