I'm going too. I've just bought a new bike, A Yamaha Fazer 1000 with 143bhp to play with so I'm looking forward to giving it a run. I've always camped down there previous years but I'm going to commute this year. I'm also going to Oulton Park for the Gold Cup this weekend.

Lots of beautiful machinery to watch racing and to photograph for future projects

Hey, didn't realise you were one of the elite too, Neil!

I'm glad I let you win last week now, might even let you again!

That's handy two of us being GRRC members, now we can give riff-raff like EE and Jexy a taste of the high life as our guests!

Yes, indeed you did.

But let's be honest, it was mine. You just carried it to the bar!

Hi Mr Material....taken me a while work out who you are.....but I know now!.

So another GRRC man eh? , superb!,

I assume we are talking about the same superior enclosure just after the starting grid (you know, Molton Brown Soap and Gold Plated Urinals!!!)....

First bottle of Bubbles is no me!...

JEXY

You not allowed in our area!, however I am sure we could smuggle you over a glass or too....failing that we could always go into the 'Lesser' area....

Ciao

It appears I am not the only yank attending the Revival. Lee ( LancerLee) from Indiana has made plans to attend along with another long time 1/32 scale enthusiasts Russ K. from Florida.

I will be assisting Philippe with his Cooper Indy car. Please stop by and say hello!

The Gold Cup was a good appetiser although the entry wasn't as good as the last couple of years. It was also a lot less crowded than Goodwood.

I won't be able to get intro the restricted areas as I haven't owned a suit for years and can't carry fancy dress on the bike.

I will be there but I can only do the Friday this year. Even that was a bit last minute so I only managed to get into the Startline grandstand.

I am not a GRRC member so I obviously will not be able to mix and mingle with you lot

Hope you all have an excellent weekend though and look forward to a few photos being posted on Monday.

My best advice is to enjoy the brilliant cars and the racing.

This will be my third Revival Meeting and it gets better each year. There will be myself, Joel Thura, Chris Pomeroy, Derek Baker and Gareth Evans representing the Southend Slot Racing Club.

Myself, Mrs H and the little Howmets will all be there, dressed as usual in our Charity shop couture. As this is usually about forty years out of date, we should fit right in with the dress code.
Only the second year for me, but I'm counting off the hours already.
