Maurice Trintignant drove a Gordini T16 in the 1953 French Grand Prix.
He only completed 14 laps and retired with transmission problems.

The above photo was the inspiration for the model below.

Hi Eric,
Glad to see you have had some time with it Looking nice hows it run? You will have to do the Austin. I have always liked this little motor and that master has been remodeled and moulded twice now but i should chop out the cockpit to match the new stuff.

A beautiful build, Eric, and a lovely shell by Dave.
The Gordinis didn't rake up many points in championship races, but they were an important part of the 1952-53 period and Jean Behra did beat Ferraris to win a non-championship race at Reims in 1952.
