Am I not looking in the right places, or are Group A cars from the end of Group B until the start of WRC thin on the ground in the world of slots?

I've got a Sierra Cosworth and an Integrale, and my wish list has on it:-
(Fly) BMW M3
(SCX) Escort Cosworth
(Team Slot) Celica GT4
that's a total of 5 cars I can find available.

Has any slot manufacturer ever done decent:-
Lancia Delta HF 4WD (the one before the Integrale, without the arches and mad rear spoiler)
Mazda 323 4WD
Mitsubishi Galant VR-4
Nissan 200SX
Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth 4x4
Subaru Legacy RS
in rally livery?

I know some of these didn't exactly set the rallying world on fire, but compared to WRC cars (I've got 12 on my list!) and Group Bs (8 on the list and in any case in 1:1 there were never as many) there doesn't seem to be much choice.

Am I missing something??

TIA
Stuart.

This is one of my favorite rally classes.

I have a Fly BMW and 2 SCX Sierra Cosworths. To be a bit more specific: what other RWD Gr A's are available from that era?

Oh and one other I find very important (I was big fan when I was a kid): the Renault Clio Maxi. I wish a nice model of this one would come out. The Williams would be good too, but only in good proportions (not NSR Clio or Punto alike
)

FWD rally cars don't really float my boat. TBH, now that WRC has gone S2000 I'm not interested anymore. IMHO WRC died at the end of the '05 season, once there was no longer any real challenge to Citroen and Ford.

Hi Stuart,

I've just bought a Fly BMW M3 - FYI it has a front mounted motor with a long shaft driving the rear wheels (much like the real thing I guess), the motor is fitted between the front wheels so they run on stub axles (which wobble).

I've not has much luck running it on routed MDF - if you get one let me know how you get on!

Regards, Alan

QUOTE (driver#8 @ 18 Sep 2011, 18:22) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Don't forget all the Mitsu Evos were Group A up until the last (rubbish) one - SCX and Scaley do them. And the SCX Impreza (pre-97). I know. I've got an SCX Lancer EvoV which I've lumped-in with my WRC collection simply because it's a '99 livery. An SCX Impreza 555 is on my GroupA wish list, but I forgot to put it in the first post.
