the slot it cars run great out of the box as do the racer versions of the fly cars the pro slots need a bit of work but deliver when set up right

I use a ninco M3 with an NC2 and Pro Slot rears and Its extremely competitve with the slot it bunch.

Also succesful at the club are pro slot toyotas.

You want something fairly low with weight distributed evenly.

As Graham says though, the fly racers are the cars to beat.

I'm sorry, but all of the cars that Graham suggested would wizz all over the Beemer. It's too tall, not wide enough and isn't a good GT car.

It wouldn't be anywhere near a well prepared slot.it or racer car.

My personal favourite would be a Fly Racing Lola B98 with Slot.It lightweight parts and a Ninco NC4. Proslot tyres were spot one though, but 20x12s...

I'm sorry but I've beat them all, so unless all the sruvers had ill prepared cars and no skill then I'd say its a pretty good car.

This reminds me of a classic car show I attended with Lancs Capri Club at Scarisbrick Hall. The announcer requested any 1980s cars to go into the show ring. Ok, so we thought maybe a couple of Mk.III Capris (my 2.8 included) would go. However, the Toyota MR2 bunch took off as a pack and every single bleeding MR2 there parked up in the ring thus preventing most of the other 80s cars from entering (not just Capris!!). Whilst we saw the funny side, there was rumbled undertones about this dubious "saturation bombing" approach to trying to obtain a trophy. The judges reacted well though, an absolutely mint Honda Accord
won!! Serves the bugger right

There's always next time - Capris are bigger and more lairy!

USAF memo :- B-52 carpet bombing is very accurate. From 30 000 feet, every single bomb released hits the ground.

friday came, and the car wheelhpped badly. I sanded the tyres a lot so there is no chance of them being out of round.Still no improvement. it this because there is too much torque in the back axel and the tyres cant cope? or have i just got a dud back axel?
