what a fantastic night well done to jaik for winning the meeting nigel was right up there pushing jaik in the A final there pace was epic nothing in at all it could of gone ether way it was a mistake that decided it . ken done great winning C then B finals to finish 3rd ( if we had a driver of the night award ken would of won it ) it was good to see a return of form of martin . the 8 mile track will always be marmite with people but the competition was as tough as ever this track is are longest track it also is a great leveller with a long underpass straight and humped flyover . another great turn out . here"s the maths 21 drivers 28 races 35 cars used mostly slot its a couple of ninco"s scalextric"s 1 racer 1 spirit 4.5 seconds was the pace to be at 7 drivers under this time 9 q pts upwards B - A finals 8 q pts down C - G finals a massive thanks to kevs mum and dad for keeping everyone refreshed and race control for banging the races though . a big thank you to all the racers who make this happen and the club what it is .............................jimbo

Yes a great night and thanks for the nice words - maybe if I had done a better job in the heats I wouldn't have had to try so hard...


The figure of eight is a much more even-handed track and you can win from any lane - but it can be a car breaker for the Sports/GTs which tend to mean the flyover really is just that.....


Well done for squeezing 21 heats and all the finals in before 10.30 - great stuff.

full credit to you ken finishing 3rd and fighting to get there was epic mate jaik and nigel are currently in there own class there going to be a hard nuts to crack this season one tenth of a second was the time average difference between 7 drivers 6 gt meetings left its going to get interesting and faster
