Thought some of you might be interested in this.
Spotted this recently, while in the midst of routing a new track, and thought it was the answer to my dreams but alas it is only a prototype.
But who knows one day in a hardware store near you!

Basically some guys have developed a router that auto corrects hand held routing to a predetermined electronic (CAD) line. Very Cool.

The full info is at: http://www.alecrivers.com/positioncorrectingtools/

P.S. haven't mastered embedding videos, so a link will have to do

Cheers

Awesome find!

I want one NOW. Brilliant for routed tracks and making pit buildings etc. Bet it will cost a bomb when it comes out

If you read their paper beyond the abstract, it goes into how they did it. Looks doable with some IT knowledge and the right markers for the original scan.
