All four bodies are a bit narrow, so we have SOWS (sticky-out wheel syndrome).

The BMW, just crying out to be turned into a BTCC car, is spot on in terms of wheelbase for the long mega, the Audi a smidge too long but should be OK, and the two Porsches will probably work on a bunch of shorter chassis.

Anyone else purchased these yet?

Seen the GTs, shame that they dont fit anything we race at CHORC, didnt bother with Mega G as they are a waste of time to cast ot mess about with as there are not many who buy my stuff in the UK!!!

Would have been nice to see more HO at Gaydon on a slightly different note.

I think the Porsche might fit on a SG+ with a bit of mod to the body, the wheelbase is a little short for a 1.5 MG but with a bit of filing and widening of the rear wheel arches would fit a treat, the 1:1 racing 997s have massively wide rear arches, but the SG+ chassis may be too wide for the body, but I don't think so.
I don't think you'd gain anything from running one, as they felt quite heavy compared to the AFX Porsche 959 body.

Well, that mate is a consequence of racing at a club stalled in 1991, 'anything' in this case is 'not much'. Paul was bemoaning having to sand SG+ tyres the other day, something I foolishly thought we had all left behind by now...

I think you would find that if you were part of the national scene that would change, awareness would soar, and that what you produced would probably change along the way as well.

More? In what way? We had a whole zone which I think was every bit as professional as anything else there. I suspect DHORC did not attend as they could not charge people, but every other HO club was represented in some way. One of your guys won the demo track event for example.

Seeing our set-up did the urge to come race against the new breed, and with all the bells and whistles we have, not creep up on you?
