It's possible they show you the percentage through the lap count the lead driver is, but it might not. I honestly can't remember.
Heat Time LED
This is probably a really stupid question, but for the Heat Time LED in the Neopixel strings — if your heats are based on laps rather than time, does the LED do anything?

I am working on getting a new strip of Neopixels connected. I’ll do a little experimenting and report back.

Okay, here is what I saw. I first used the Fuel Round Robin race format to show what the Heat Time LED does for heats based on time - in this case, a heat duration of 3 minutes:
I then took that race format and modified it so the heat duration is 20 laps. At the start of the heat, the Heat Time LED goes GREEN and remains that color throughout the heat - i.e., there is absolutely no change. Too bad, it would be nice to be able to use that for lap-based heats....

It could... it would use the heat leader lap count to figure out how far through the heat it is... I'll think about it.
