[70s_Scalex]

Hi,

I am new to this slot forum, I belong to many others spread around the net.
My interest is and has been for the last 30 years Scalextric cars from the 70s.
I attend some UK swop meets looking for spares but do not race in clubs.
I have a fairly large collection of around 100 UK model 1970s cars and all are regularly used by myself and kids on my home track.

I Hope to post something useful to a forum one day.

Once you suspend disbelief - how can grown men have so much fun playing and talking about toy cars - it's fun, fun, fun all the way. 70's cars some of the most charismatic and fun to drive.

Many of us go to swap meets so maybe we can meet up for a coffee and chat at the next one you go to.

Not sure about interesting stories but Since getting involved buying cars from Ebay I have some nightmare horror stories.

Thanks for the welcome, I hope to get some of my car pics uploaded onto my web site soon, If I can work out how to make this £9.99 digi camera work.

Your collection sounds superb, when you get some time please post a picture or two if possible, we all like pictures here! I intend to post a few when I sort my cars out, plus as others have mentioned, we would really like to hear about your experiences.
