Hello,

I am Simon from Cumbernauld just outside Glasgow, I am in the process of building my Micro scalextric set up. Origianally I had bought a second hand full size scalextric setup but struggled for space and found that it could be quite expensive. I am enjoying Micro scalextric better than I thought so are the kids. I am looking forward to getting answers to many questions I have answered particuarly with lap timings for micro scalextric.

Cumbernauld, for some reason I am having a visceral reaction to that name. Is there some kind of PAYE centre there, or something else equally gruesome to do with our wonderful government?

Yes there is an Inland Revenue centre here, also where the film Grergorys Girl was made if you have ever seen it.
