Hi Rick55,

Welcome to the Forum

One thing you will find out here, is that someone will definitely know or know a man who does. Where did you have this fortuitous accident??

All the best - Greg

I was round my uncles, and for some reason he took the tyres off his 911 when it was cutting out, and on closer inspection realised they were not standard, after having a rummage around he found 3 more pairs in the packets, we tried them on numerous cars and the difference was incredible. Trouble is he cant remember where or when he got them!!

Hi

I moved away to Spain before I realised these Norfolk clubs existed.

Have you been to the ipswichslotcars.org.uk club? It used to meet in Wickham Market on Tuesdays but not sure if still going...FAST RACING with fast motors like Gp12 etc.
Nice club members and very helpful.

Have started a club in Almeria, Spain and love racing the Scaleauto and Plafit 1/24th, not sure if Norfolk or Suffolk cater for those.
Wifey keeps wanting to move back to Lowestoft but not until I see a 1/24th Scaleauto club L.O.L.

Hi Sunsetman

You are tempting me !!!

We built a track in Almeria... 120 feet 4 lane MDF wood with copper braid and use the Trackmate timing system.
We were lucky to find an affordable venue after losing our first a year after starting the club. The track was stored for 3 years.
Most people are having problems with obtaining venues when the track has to stay up all the time. (St. Olaves is taken down each week). We had a visitor from London over last week and they are looking for a new venue, as is one of our members who returned to UK at the Bexhill Scale Slot Car Club.

It cost us almost 1500 euros for the track materials and several months of routing and painting etc..
