Can't help you on the modern stuff, but I've got a lot of vintage Lotus slot cars.
Here's one that combines the two, for a special race every year near Lille, for 1/24 cars at a mostly 1/32 club, with under 2 liter bodies and a spec chassis and motor. The body is a Scuderia Scale two-piece vac-form of thick styrene from the early 60s.
