[Riddell Racer]

Hi guy's, probably a little off topic (sorry), but how hard is it to construct these lap boards, & do they only work with digital tracks with the pitlane game? I'm a little handy with a soldering iron, & figure I may give it a shot to throw one together. Don't have the pitlane game & probably don't intend to buy one so just want to make sure I'm not wasting my time.

Thanks for the explanation MrFlippant, saves me wasting a whole bunch of time. Have the C7042 base myself, so good to know it's not compatible before starting to put time into a lost cause.
Dont really like the look of the tower on the new APB, too toy like. Want something to resemble a real track tower so may start work on trying to disguise Scaleys version.
