Hi

Does anyone have any idea on what the sponsor on the rear of the car is - above the Pirelli logo.
Written in a script font in red.
I dont think its the name of the driver because i believe the driver is Stig Andervang in the PIAA sponsored Ford RS200 during the 1986 RAC Rally

Sorry the pictures are a bit poor quality.

Also any ideas on what the sponsor is that is on the door sill closest to the REAR wheel arch.

Any help/ideas is much appreciated.

For the 2. question, I think it's Shell Oil, or that is what my eyes tell me.

Kind Regards

lol I dont think so Harry, Harry Ramsdens were still a very small organisation in 1987.
But thanks for your input

Molla Sagverk looks good.... funny when someone suggests something, then you look at the picture again and your brain sees it.
Thanks Chris & Riko for the info.

Unfortunately I think the back-end is sliding too quickly to read the writing in this youtube clip, car is featured 1:10 onwards.

Tho' I guess if you can get access to the dvd that the clip is from a freeze frame might work.....

As you can see it has the front light pod, taken from the old RS200 body.
Rear lights modified slightly to give silver reversing lights, reflector and orange indicator.
Painted in the indicators and sidelights.
Even gave the co-driver a little map to read.
Scalextric mirrors removed and not used. Those mirrors are modified Scalextric Porsche 962 mirrors.
80 Decals in total.

Thank you very much to all the guys who helped out with finding those decals. It was much appreciated.

SlotButton - It was JQF Engineering. They had something to do with cosworth i think. But it was too late. Had already done the JOF, but the difference was v small.

And Molla Sagverk should actually been written as Molla Sågverk

But a bit of wheathering could do the job for both decals.

I've looked for you under "sagwerk" but forgot that in Swedish te w gets an v. So well done Chris and Riko.
I know myself its sometimes very hard work to, first read the logo (on pre-digital pictures and low res scans) and then find the logo. Especially for those who have disappeared or have been renewed.
And if there isn't a logo you struggle to find the right font to do the text yourself. But I always get thrilled when I see the car you've been working on so hard on the track.
Luckely for my Le Mans 1998 cars I can rely on a French forum with LM addicts. In the GT2 class there are a lot off small teams with local sponsors and even smaller logos.

Well done Graymalkin! Stunning car.
