Hello

I have a Subaru Police car (C3068) that I have digital chipped and it also has an additional modification of a switch to turn on or off the siren. This is done by simply cutting one of the wires leading to the siren and adding in a very small switch.

The car was working fine until I was pressing the trigger very slowly when the lights and the siren stopped working, the car still runs and changes lanes etc. I've tried unplugging the APB and re ID'ing the car but the lights and siren still don't work.

Does anyone have any experience of this or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

The car was a gift so if I can't fix it I'll have to replace it

Thanks in advance

Hi Adrian,
Follow this LINK for a the same problem.

It could be as simple as a broken/loose wire as the quality of soldering on these boards appear to be somewhat bereft of ruggedness. If you find that the FX-board is rogered then give Pendles a call as they are very good at sourcing spares quickly.

All the best - Greg
