Some while back (could be anything in the last eight years) I found a posting on here for a chart that someone (from across the pond) had made of a conversion chart for feet/inches to metric , it was very usefull for buildings etc, can anyone point me in the right place??

Don't know about a chart. But the conversion is fairly simple.

Length in inches X 25.4 = Length in mm Divide that by your scale (32) and you've got scale length in mm.
