Just wanted to say hi, this is my first post here. I am an HO guy, been into slot cars off and on since the late 70's. Still have some of my childhood cars. I am only recently back in the hobby full time with my first permanent track in my garage (the wife's idea actually). Track has been up for over a year now. I have a good amount of knowledge with anything AFX, I have about 100 cars of which 80% are AFX from Non Magnatraction, Magnatraction (one of my favorites) to the newer Mega G+, Super G + is my favorite, well I should say the Viper V1 chassis is my new favorite. I am in the West Palm Beach area if anyone is close by hit me up. I look forward to discussing all things HO with my fellow enthusiasts...Mark.

Welcome, Mark. I'm over in Brooksville, so not exactly a quick jaunt. I do 1/32, but if I make it that way or you come mine, I will play with any scale!

Do you collect any pre-AFX cars too? That's where I started, with the T-Jets, altho later switched to 1/24 and 1/32...

Hi Don an thanks for the welcome. I have a few of the older TJet's but I don't collect them. My oldest cars are the non Magnatraction and Magnatraction cars. I am mostly into racing now, a local hobby shop opened up near me and they have a bunch of nice tracks including HO and have started doing club racing. I enjoy building and racing my Viper chassis cars in several different classes. I have a decent home track and am trying to get a group of guys together so we can do some of our own racing. I recently found your channel. I watched this video and I have to ask where did you get that black Tyco narrow chassis, I have never seen a narrow black chassis before.Hi Don an thanks for the welcome. I got it off eBay. It took a while to find one but one did come up for sale, it was a complete chassis with no body.
