Just a quick hi,
Im new on here, From the SW England.
Just bought my first set for a few years, a Scalextric sport.
What on earth happened whilst I was away?
These new sport cars are incredible, Last time I was racing my ninco golf 4wd with a 20,000rpm motor 3 magnets, race bearings soft slicks etc etc was dynamite, but these cars are far faster, and they look STUNNING, and finally the new sport track, at last its push together
, no more sore fingers trying to rearrange layouts etc.
Im sure its all old news to every one else but Ive been stuck in the timewarp where the the corolla was a good car (by scaley standards)and 6R4's were still in use from time to time.
As well as the Fullsize scalextric track Ive got a good size micro set for my son, and Im attempting to restore to working order my very first slot car set a matchbox powertrack, its 25 years old, and unfortunately I virtually destroyed the cars when I was younger. But looking on ebay and trying to get the bits together to get it back up and running.
