[Gaugemaster Controls]

In accordance with public opinion on other threads, I am proposing to put together a 'hints and tips' sheet for slot car buyers. To this end, I will fully confess that I am not fully aware of all the various goings on as far as cars go, but I know that you lot out there are far more knowledgeable than me, so how about this: Why not email me your hints and tips and I will collect the best together into a leaflet/book? It could be saved as an acrobat file and downloaded from this forum, and also the various delares could print them off for their use and give them to new customers.

Ideas could be advice on rear axle popping, braid maintenance, wheel binding, anything really that would be of use to the new or not-so-experienced user.

Therefore, if you have any great ideas based on problem solving you have had then please email me, and lets see what the powers of Gaugemaster and the Slotforum can come up with.

Maybe, if Aaron agrees, the sheet can have the SlotForum logo and addresss on it as a way to direct the site to teh attention of new buyers.

Spreading the word is very important. Will it be possible to have an information stand at Phoenix manned for the meeting? I know It`s fairly simple to sign up but I feel that it would be a good idea to recruit new members on the day? If I can help in any way at all please tell me how I can support you.

Promoting the SlotForum and the NSCC within the 'leaflet' is not a problem and is in fact a great idea. However, I am reading this thread from home at the moment so I hope many of you have sent me emails with good hints and tips to include in the publication. It is a good idea (even if I do say so myself) but I still need the info!

A 'hints 'n' tips' leaflet sounds a great idea and also an ideal source of promotion for both Slot Forum and the NSCC. I would definatley be interested in one.

Also Gaugemaster if you are interested I would be happy to help you pull together the actual leaflet as this sort of thing I do everyday, and I have easy access to the equipment needed for graphic design - just let me know.

Yes, the Pendle resource is well worth a visit. this was one of, maybe even the very first actual downloads followed by a paper print that I ever did on slot cars - excellent stuff.
