As per my earlier post, speak to Pasiro about the right cars.
Resins do increase the choice, but they are usually heavier and more fragile than injection-molded stuff.
I'd go for a Toyota Group C on an SRT, unless the club drop the silly SG+ tyre rule, at which point the SG+ might be better, Nascar I would use a JL body if they will let you, for their anything-goes class a Life-Like T with a Rokar Datsun body. Pasiro will have potentially better ideas, being at the coal-face so to speak...
Also, the club may be allowing the Mega-G in the future, so check those out:
We have been running these since 2008 and they are brilliant.
Andy from the Chesterfield HO racing Club does resin bodies, I don't know if he's got any at present but if you are coming along this Thursday you can have a chat with him. I'm not sure he does muscle cars or nascars but he may do saloons, but don't quote me on that.
Don't forget if it's your first time at the club, your first night is free
Have you checked out the clubs website for further club info?
