I hae put together a mock up of a single pitbox to see if I have got the cale right. Its made from a tissue box and held together with tape.. (actual buildings will be done properly honest
)

Does it look right in scale ???

I think it looks good. If you're really worried about it, I know there are several scale conversion calculators on the web.

Get to work!

personally I reckon it sould be a little wider - so the car could be parked along side it, and room for a lift/jack-guy in front and behind (F1 style) - ie to me the pit building should be the length of a long car + 2 people and a tiny bit extra.

Looks good tho

Hi Gazman

There are some great designs for a control tower, pits, grandstand, etc. that might be of interest to you on this Japanese site:

Bit Char-G Grand Prix

Take a look at the "Bit Char-G tracks Developing Kit" page. The buildings are intended for Micro R/C but as that's about the same size as Micro Scalextric they shouldn't be too far from the size you want.

They might be useful for reference even if you go with your own designs.
