I understand i.e. 16x9
Probably widthe by heigth, but what about the higher center on the rim. Diffrent manufactres use diffrent with, so even if a tire fits it could still shift sideways on a rim.
I wish there were a central database for the diffrent combinations rims vs tire manufacturer

There are far too many wheel/tyre/car combinations, especially with all the aftermarket wheel and tyre makers to be able to build a reliable and accurate database for this.

It would be in the millions I'm sure

I measured it.

Its around 18mm with 9mm width tyres totaling to 21mm wheelsize total. (audi R8 and Nissan GTR nismo)

tyres suck though, they are square and not rounded at edges. Gonna be display props.

Have you chosen which brand of tyre you're using? NSR have a range of tyres with different profiles, take a look at their 5214 and 5216. Fitted to 17mm wheels these will give a finished dia. of 20.5 to 21mm.

One word of caution - are Carrera axles knurled? If so you need a full axle, gear, bearing and hub swap to get what you want.

If you're still head scratching send me a pm and I'll help if I can.

yes they are at the end, for the plastic rims.

Getting new 3/32 titanium axles from mbslot. Carrera axle is 50mm long
Then the slot.it magnesium wheels, SIPA18MG (8x17.2) and SIPA19MG(8x10) for back.
The 10 fits 12 tyres. Gears NSR lightweight gears.

The bronze bushes that come with carrera cars fit the 3/32 axle I read somewhere.

I molested 1 carrera cars chassis to get the weight down, so probably do 1 car (the GTR nismo) like above with an Avant slot "blue" motor (the one with 500g/cm torque)

But I just need to see how much I am gonna spend realy, since it will never be a mosler beater to start with..

They'll be oversize to allow for the knurling on the Carrera axle. With all the money you're spending get some new bearings and glue them in. Slot.it do a specific bearing for Carrera but I'd double check that they're right for your chassis before buying.
