Whoaa! Hold on a minute. The Avenger Tiger was a rather hot motor, complete with chrome sports hubcaps and a chrome exhaust.

Please do not think of it in a manner in the way that some of you are thinking. Now come on, own up. I know exactly what many of you will be thinking.

And note that the scale version fits on the chassis of the XR3, itself one of the top selling sports saloons in history.

Some interesting cars there Mr Wankel.

Some ideas and stuff from the past should simply stay there..these are one of those things..

Nice work - shame about the choice !

However - I could do with an Austin Princess or Allegra!

Oh ! Oh! and what was the one that talked to you, telling you to put your seatbelt on in the same voice as your mother??

Ahh! yes... The Austin Montego MG !!!

Avengers! I owned a couple of those - a 1971 car which failed its MOT when the garage tried to jack it up...the jack was going up but the car wasn't, as the floor was detaching itself from the body, and then I.. er..'upgraded' to a brown 1977 car. Which is just about as uncool as you can get. The rumour that the windscreen was likely to pop out at speeds over 80 mph kept those long journeys interesting!

Scalex never produced an XR3, yes it is the XR3 shape (Mk3) but it is the later car featuring injection. I converted my 3i into a Series 1 RST anyway! some may remember from SCI

My second point is.. IT'S NOT A SALOON CAR!! it's a hot hatch like the focus ST170 and RS (and the soon to be cosworth vertion
nice one Ford!)

QUOTE Talking cars. An idea of the future, now a thing in the past.

Mine does, or at least the sat nav does. And very nicely she does it too.

And they listen as well. We've got voice recognition on a few models where to say "CD" and it switches on the rear wash wipe. Or maybe it's my accent.

QUOTE Enjoyed it a LOT until the floor fell out inside a year! Bet you have been kept busy welding!
On the contrary, still has it's original floors, sills, and even the boot floor is totally rust free.

Oh!and the rear Subframe is original, and still has pretty much all the factory black paint on it.

I even has me own Hydrospastic pump to keep the"Wet"suspension up to correct ride hight.

I would almost bet money that this is the most rust free example of a 1300/America in the world.
