Let's open it up a bit by suggesting that, traditionally, Slotit and Proslot are both praised in this area. My problem (what, only one?) is that I don't have access to a wooden track, so my 'knowledge' is second hand. But there are several people here in a better positiion to advise, so let's hear it, guys!
depends what class you are running. On our club proslot tyres help most cars. Front engine flys = panoz; classic fly 512s short tail; f1 - mixed bag but SCX f1/87 is a good chassis. main thing is smooth transmission, tight snug axle and round rims and tyres. With this as your base most can be made to run ok
