I will be taking the car to my friend,Dale (motorsportnut)and he will show me how to install the Kelvin Light headlight,taillight,and brakelight kit.
I am looking forward to learning to do this, as my electrical,soldering,etc is pretty poor!!!

VERY COOL!
I too want to see how the Kelvin Lights look compared to the Overdrive ones.
There is a supply and availability issue with Kelvin Lights in Europe at the moment so please do post pics of the kit as well as the finished car!
(PS: sidenote - can you make that 4 'mild 7' decal sets for the Renault John?

kelvin lights are superior to overdrive in my experience. We fit lights for our 24 hour race, six hours of which is run in the dark using the headlights and some street lamps.
We also have a guy called `Gary the Gadget`who buys the parts and fits light systems into your car. His system is as per KL but because we use variable voltage he fits a larger resistor to car so they will not burn out. If we can help mate I`ll let you know his number etc.

I will be taking a break from my own projects because I must get back to work on decal requests.I plan on retiring from work in ten years,I hope I am still this busy with the slots and decal making!!! I told my wife I may have to quit my day job to keep up!!!

yikes,the most important thing,
the kids are grown up,and on their own.3 grandchildren,and another on the way.
and my wife,she sure understands and has been wonderful!!! she has a couple of hobbies has well,ceramic doll making,and just started to quilt.
My slot car hobby keeps me busy,but I do make sure to spend time with my family,as that truly gives me the most joy!!!
