I got the idea from simon wrights thread

http://www.slotforum.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=55948

on his build of a cars character from a scalextric dodge viper. Im just wondering what kind of cars do people think would fit them? not necessarily your favorite car, or the car you own in real life, but something that fits you.

I guess I would be a modern Jeep, They look good (to some people)
They dont work off road very well and their on road capabilities are lacking. Oh and in a few years It'll be beat up and full of rust

Not convinced that there's a Koala car (Blinky Bill, everyone's favourite literary koala, is usually on a bicycle) but there is an Echidna.

And it's not even Australian.

I would like to say some sort of Jaguar or Aston Martin, but I really feel I am far more reliable then that!

A 73/74 911 RSR fits pretty well, but maybe a bit too rare!

My real fun car is a 2001 Mazda Miata LE with some mild mods and that really suits me pretty well, better then the rusty ole' 74' BMW 2002 sitting in the Garage, but that or a 67 Mustang would be my second and third choices respectively!

These cars all have similar attributes, simple, smart, reliable and sporty while still being somewhat utilitarian!

I would be an old van.

When I was new, very fuel efficient & looking tidy.

Now old, still useful but a bit worn out & scruffy looking. Maybe an old van with a 3.0L Turbo engine

Cheers Paul.
