No I have not recently divorced my wife!
I ordered the 2 channel SCS wireless contol system before Christmas and it arrived today. Luckily my wife was out shopping so I was able to open the package and run down into my basement, where my track is set up and give them a brief try. After an initial glitch, my fault not that of the SCS guys, they worked perfectly. There does not seem to be any signal lag between the wired controller and the wireless controller. The one thing I am definitely going to have to get used to is not putting my controller down to go and reslot a car because, guess what, like an obedient dog, it will follow you! The power cable on the base unit has a standard USB plug on it so, as a power source, I used my 2amp 5V iPad USB charger and it worked fine but apparently you can use a USB port from a computer to power the unit, if your computer is close to your scalextric base. Any small USB charger that has a standard female USB socket on it will probably work just fine.
I am using a PB Pro with SH mod upgrade. I tried my Slot.it digital controller and there seems to be some interference so it did not work but I have not given up on getting it working with the SCS wireless system, further testing required.
Overall I am very impressed with this system it is easy to setup and get working with standard Scalextric digital controllers. The manual is brief but well illustrated and easily understood. During the ordering I communicated with the guys at SCS and they were always very prompt with their replies this is an encouraging sign as far as future product support is concerned.

I am going to test the system further and will update you on my impressions.

Just to clarify for the other readers....
This is the wireless controller unit from Sweden and not the one from Andy Wallace et al.
Correct?

Thank for those kind words Richard. (No, we haven't paid him, not that much anyway..
) Since the new revision in October the system adds a dealy of 2-3 ms, which should be next to impossible to notice. Thanks to you and the other kind test pilots I think we soon will have solved the glitches we've noticed when various combinations of PB's and controllers are tested. Fine tuning is the key to sucess.

The website is also updated with new pictures, FAQ and an electronic copy of the manual.
