Have the light bridge on the main straight, that way cars won't be sliding out and you will minimise accidental clocking of both lanes lap counters. It also means that you can line the cars up straight and possibly even work out a staggering distance for certain distance races.

Really like the track, even if it is a bit wiggly. When can I come over to try it out?

I suggest a polyurathane paint, but would not know where to get one. I have found that gloss tracks don't have much grip. Another alternative is to use sandtex which is paint with a sand like texture. It has loads of grip but does wear the tyres down quicker than normal. I have also heard of people using chalkboard paint.
