Hi,

anyone dealt with indoormotorsports.com lately? I ordered some parts in September and haven't received anything yet. Besides that I am not getting any response to emails I have been sending them enquiring about the orderstatus, so currently I have little faith I will ever receive my items.

Hi

I have had one interaction with this guy a few years back. I bought a S16D motor from him on eBayUS and it did eventually arrive.
Since then I have seen a thread on another US blog that suggests avoiding him.
The story suggested he adverises what he doesnt yet have but when orders mount up goes to his supplier......kinda wrong but maybe you will still see the things you paid for.

I certainly hope you have better luck than I did. Ordered and paid for a car but in spite of numerous unanswered e-mails and calls I got nothing. By that time the PayPal dispute time had passed so I got nothing. I would seriously caution anyone against dealing with them

Sadly, this is nothing new. Indoor Motorsports seems to be a constant headache.
Quite a few people have been ripped off over the years, as can be seen here and here.

I ordered a bit of stuff off their website a while ago, and after about a month, I sent emails that never got responses.
After about 2 months, and much to my surprise, I got an email saying that the stuff that I ordered was expected to be delivered to them within a week or two.

Cool..

After another month, still nothing, sent another email and got a response after 2 weeks apologising for the delay, and that they parts will be dispatched to me the following week.

After 9 months from ordering, a package arrived with most of my order correctly supplied. There was 1 wrong item, and 1 missing, but I got the main bits I was after.

I think I was lucky that I got anything.

That's no way to run a business. Bad vendors. Never again.

According to another slot blog he is still trading on eBay but has a different user name.
The quoted delivery time is the clue...read carefully.

yes unfortunately he writes of an expected delivery time (international deliveries) that is about the same period as the period one may still open a paypal dispute. That makes one think, doesn't it? Stupid me not to realize this before ordering.

Thanks for the facebook tip, will try that.
Other than that I can only hope someday my parts will come.

indoormotorsports is a huge scam, anybody dealing with this company will get taken, I emailed them for months and never got one response. I reported them to paypal and they got all my money back. STAY AWAY FROM Indoormotorsports
