I was looking through the Motodrom web-site and came across these interesting planned future releases:

Also listed are the following:

Lola 675 LMP "Dyson" - Scalextric
Lola 675 LMP "Intersport Racing" - Scalextric
March 707 STP Chris Amon - Vanquish MG
Alfa Romeo 33/TT 12 - Vanquish MG
Mazda RX-8 - AutoArt
Nissan Fairlady Z - AutoArt

Also, this "Conti-Turm & Boxengasse" by Bauer, in 1/24nd and 1/32nd scale:

Kind regards

Interesting pics, the BAR would logically be the next F1 car on the grid to be produced, but there is that 'Williams F1' logo and the image on the inside of the box lid looks like its been stuck in (or photoshoped) - not the usual style of Scaley Sport interior designs, no intro text telling the car's background or history! Interesting...

If you look at these cars on the Motodrom website you will see that they are not actually listed as Scalextric cars. Rather, it would appear to state that they are custom paint jobs on Scalextric bodies.

I say appears as I can't read German and can never trust Google 100%.

I would have thought it was obvious that the Bar and the Ferrari are re-liveries done by Dani Slot.... Sorry if anyone got their knickers in a knot thinking that they were new Scalextric releases!

That was a useful link.
A shame there is no indication of price, though I would expect it to be quite expensive and possibly a little frightening! It has to be enough to make it worthwhile as a commercial proposition and I would take a guess that this could double the basic car price.

That building/pit lane looks good. I bought and built the others in that set (control/scoring tower and Shell sign) and they are easy to build and good value, albeit a tad fragile if not on a permanent layout.

Trouble is that will mean three pit lanes; old Scalextric, new Scalextric with Fly pit wall and then this. So far I've resisted the SCX one only because of space. Oh well, just more reasons why I need a bigger layout.

...just try this link - Mick is offering a CD with these buildings in H0 - after rescaling them you've a cheap alternative to build these classic Nuerburgring-buildings. Mick is offering this CD since spring 2002 and I have one as I supported him while he constructed the buildings. But you definitively need a huge layout if you're running in 1/32 and much bigger if it's 1/24!

You're dreaming about a much bigger layout now?
